The SDI Global Referral Program is designed to allow Open Water Scuba Diver students of Scuba Diving International (SDI) to complete their open water diver training where they
choose, without involving them in training agency boundaries. We believe that by allowing these students to decide for themselves the facility through which they will go diving helps
make their first experience of Scuba fun and enjoyable. We believe that this is important; something we are sure you will agree with!
We also think that allowing any facility the opportunity to say “YES” to good business is not just good for the store, but it is good for diving! We are sure that as a dive professional you will also agree that in today’s competitive world you do not want to turn away custom when
you don’t need to! Any current open water instructor certified with any agency may complete the SDI Global Referral form. It is easy and simple and means you get the referral students’ business! Details of how to accept and complete the referral are attached.
Of course, you may have questions, and we will be happy to help you in any way we can. Just as you do not need to be an SDI Instructor to accept the Global Referrals nor do you need to
do business with SDI to ask for assistance. “YES”, our attitude is different to others! We
want to ensure that all the dive industry prospers and that the student divers come away
with the feeling of just how great the sport of diving, the one we all love, really is!!
“But our other agency says we can’t accept these referrals?” – We have heard that some
representatives may say this….however this is definitely not the case. We are more than happy to send you documentation showing that your agency allows you to accept these
referrals; they just don’t want to tell you that!
So….consider your options and take advantage of our philosophy. Diving is Fun…and accepting SDI Global Referrals is easy and profitable!
